Photo quality
Upload as large a photo as possible. Photos taken with a mobile phone are usually not sharp enough. A sharp print should preferably contain at least 1.5 pixels per millimetre. So a wall 2.5 metres high and 4 metres wide should be at least 3750 by 6000 pixels. The higher the resolution, the sharper the print!

Upload your own design wallpaper
Have you found a great photo you want to use as wallpaper? Then upload your photo on our website. Via the "upload photo" button, you can easily submit your own design. We accept different image formats, but .JPG is the most common format we support. Before you upload the photo to us, it is necessary to enter your e-mail address. We do this to ensure that your photo is linked to your e-mail address. By the way, we delete photos automatically within 3 months after upload.
How big does my photo need to be to make wallpaper?
The quality of the photo determines how sharp it will be printed on your wallpaper. An indication of the quality of the photo is the resolution. You can check on a computer how many pixels (e.g. 4500x3750 pixels) an image is. We always stick to a pixel density of 1.5 pixels per millimetre. So if you have a 3m x 2.5m wall, the photo resolution should preferably also be 4500x3750 pixels or higher. Does your photo fall just short of this? Or do you have doubts about the quality? Send an e-mail to hello@wallgroup.com and we will check it for you. You will then receive a digital proof from us. That way, you can judge for yourself whether you think the quality is sufficient.
How much does it cost to print your own photo on wallpaper?
We charge a fixed price per square metre. The larger your wall, the more square metres of wallpaper we need. If you want your photo as a poster on the wall, that is also possible. Just enter the size of the photo you want. You will receive your wallpaper poster within a few days. The cost of a wallpaper poster also depends on the dimensions you enter.
What quality of photo wallpaper is used?
The wallpaper we use is 180gr/m2 non-woven wallpaper. This wallpaper is extra strong, so it will not actually tear when wallpapering. Thanks to its firm structure, the wallpaper is easy to stick straight onto the wall. Does it hang a little crooked? No problem, the wallpaper is easy to remove and stick straight again.
Wallpaper your wall with your own photo
You will receive our wallpaper exactly the way you ordered it. We recommend adding an extra 5 centimetres all around. We do this because walls are not always straight. This ensures that your wallpaper always fits your wall. We print a number on each strip of wallpaper. These numbers must be pasted in ascending order. Before you start wallpapering, lay your wallpaper side by side in the order of the numbers on the strips.
Delivery time of your photo wallpaper with your own photo
We will process your order on working days within 24 hours after you have placed your order. This normally means that you will receive your photo wallpaper within 3 working days. If we have doubts about the quality of your photo wallpaper, we will contact you by e-mail. This means there may be a slight delay in delivery.
